3rd ship of a series of identically constructed ferries (4 vessels in design "B501"), also see >Finnpartner< and >Finntrader< - total lane length: 3,380 m, insulated cargo capacity: 8,200 m3 - in 2013 the ship was renamed >Euroferry Olympia< - in the early morning of February 18th 2022, north of the Greek island of Corfu, a fire broke out on the ship - the ship reached the port of Astrakos, Greece on February 24th while being towed - at that time all the fires had not yet been extinguished - according to "Robin de Bois #65", the ship was declared a total loss and, after all investigations have been completed, is to be transferred to a scrap yard and scrapped there - on September 18th 2023 the ship arrived Aliaga, Turkey and was beached on September 19th for demolition |
