this ship is one of the last so-named >Weselmann coasters< which are still in service (labelled after the shipbuilding engineer Adolf Weselmann from Hamburg). As one of the first new buildings after WW2 this ship was a subject to restrictions of the Allied Control Council, i.e. it wasn't allowed to exceed 300 ts and a defined length. |
