4th ship of a series of almost identically constructed coastal cargo liners (4 vessels - varying engine power) - the ship sustained engine failure on January 19th 2013 in heavy weather and stranded 2 miles SW of Torreira, Portugal in position 40.43N, 08.43W - refloated on March 26th 2013 with tug assistance and, having been declared a total loss, was towed to Lisbon for demolition - the demolition was carried out by the company Batista & Irmaos A.S., Alhos Vedros |
