6th ship of a series of identically constructed feeder container ships of Sietas type 148 (6 vessels - German ice class E, classified as container ship, closed bridge wing, lower engine power, 2 welded decks), also see >Believer<, >Uranus< and (>Conceiver<, >Elation<) - converted from general cargo ship in 1994 - also see >Perceiver< - in 2012 the ship was renamed >Haidar< - in 2015 the ship was reconstructed into a livestock carrier - on October 6th 2015, in Barcarena, Brazil, the ship capsized on the quayside with about 5000 cattle on board - all animals died up to a few hundred - the ship has not yet been recovered - according to "Equasis.org": total loss (status of October 6th 2015) |
