the ship was transferred in 2015, converted from an inland navigation vessel into a coaster and renamed >Karin Høj< in the same year - en route from Soedertaelje, Sweden to Nykøbing in ballast, the ship was in collision with the cargo ship >Scot Carrier<, 3300 gt (IMO: 9841782), en route from Salacgriva, Latvia to Montrose, Scotland off Bornholm island 20 nautical miles off the port of Ystad on December 13th 2021, at 3.30 a.m.. The ship capsized and drifted bottom up in the sea. The ship was to be towed to Skillinge, Sweden on December 14th in order to be righted by the Danish salvage ship >Susanne A< (IMO: 9099183) - status according to "Equass.org": tolal loss - according to Vesseltracker: no current AIS signal since December 13th |
