GRT: 298 - once built as the tanker >Vilm< in 1952, the vessel served as a tank and supply ship in Peenemünde, GDR before being laid up as a tanker in 1989 and then used as a house boat in Neustadt/Holstein, Germany. In 1991 the ship was bought at auction by the "LebenLernen auf Segelschiffen" association, dismantled and completely rebuilt in 1992 at Peene-Shipyard, Wolgast. Since 1993 the ship is in use as museum vessel. |
