Location Hamburg Port, near >Dockland<
Comment view on "Dockland". The "Dockland" is a six-storey office building which is constracted in the form of a parallelogram, which should illustrate to be a ship. It was launched in late 2002 on a specially filled up terrain and was completed in Autumn 2005. The "Dockland" has been designed by the Hamburg team of architects Bothe, Richter, Teherani. A special feature of the building are the diagonal working passenger elevators. The roof terrace is opened to the public and serves as a wonderful lookout point over the Port of Hamburg.
